Pardon My French by Cathy Hapka
This book, Pardon My French by Cathy Hapka, has to be my favorite from the series S.A.S.S. (Students Across the Seven Seas). It tells of Nicole, a popular yet ignorant girl growing up in a small town in Maryland. When her parents "force" her to join the study abroad program, she is devastated to leave behind her friends and boyfriend. However she learns through series of events that this trip is exactly what she needs and becomes a better person as a result.
